1. XPoNential Music Festival

Held in Camden, NJ in late July, this music festival with three stages and 30+ performers features a terrific mix of new as well as established artists. Public transportation conveniently accesses the XPoNential Music Festival.

2. Warren County Farmers Fair & Balloon Fest

This exciting dual festival held at the end of July and the first part of August can’t be beaten with two festivals all in one.

Featuring everything from tractor pulls, to carnival rides, to agricultural competitions, this festival near Phillipsburg, NJ has something for the entire family. Highlighted by a spectacular mass balloon launch every evening, this festival is a crowd pleaser.

3. Atlantic City Airshow, Thunder Over The Boardwalk

A thrilling show set in the skies above the beautiful beaches and Boardwalk in Atlantic City the Atlantic City Airshow has become a favorite for locals and tourists alike. Featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds as well as many other exciting performers including The United States Army Parachute Team audiences can enjoy the boardwalk and an exciting overhead show at the same time.

Held mid-week in mid-August this free event is for the whole family to enjoy.

4. Canal Day Festival

Enjoy a day of free family fun featuring a craft show, numerous food vendors, educational events and 11 live bands. There is something of interest for all who participate in the fun-filled day on August 18, 2018.

Located in Wharton, NJ, the Canal Day Festival prides itself on being an old-fashioned country fair which celebrates the Morris Canal and its contributions to the advancement of the communities along its banks.

Boat rides, kayaking, exotic animals, and fireworks are only some of the activities in store at this celebration, now in its 38th year.

5. Rutgers Gardens Fall Festival

The annual Fall Festival of Rutgers University held in mid-October is a family-friendly event at the Gardens. Celebrating one of the last warm days of the year, families and friends explore the grounds for a day complete with games, activities, and food.

This festival includes a challenging scavenger hunt, farm animals, lawn games, pumpkin decorating, as well as arts and crafts.
